Like the Tech Xtreme Exhibits, the LAN Party Xtreme (LPX) showcases the ACTUAL COMPUTERS w/ EXTREME setups!
The LPX is the gathering of all gatherings of the LAN PARTY communit of Davao. PC Gamers, PC modders, and PC Enthusiasts come together not only to compete, but also to be part of the annual LPX - a celebration made possible by the Tech Xtreme Sponsors!
THE LPX Series is not only for those competing for looks and performance, but it is for everyone with any PC/Mac who wants to be part of a growing PC Enthusiasts community.
Whether you have a flashy computer or a powerful one, if you're a hardcore gamer or would just like to socialize. YOU ARE INVITED because this is a CELEBRATION.
GENERAL LAN PARTY POLICIES (MUST READ)
Bring your WORKING computer setup (including extension cord!) You will only be provided w/ a table space, chair, LAN cable, and one (1) 220v power outlet.
INSTALL and SETUP your units as REQUIRED by the LPX ORGANIZING TEAM such as BENCHMARK TOOLS and GAMES, BEFORE COMING TO EVENT
Complete requirements to be announced via SMS and posted here, and installers to be provided so don't worry. Reformatting your main partition may be necessary.
PAY REGISTRATION FEE of Php 1,500 (includes Official Jacket, Shirt, Dog Tag, 3 day participation @ event, and etc)
You agree to allow DCG Players to use your computer during the 1st day DAVAO CYBER GAMES DoTA Tournament on the 1st day of DCE. This is inline with our initiative to demo our computers to the public, show them how fast/stable they are, etc. ONLY CPU and MONITOR will be used. We will provide Standard Keyboards and Mouse for the users so your devices are safe!
YOUR SETUP MUST BE PRESENT throughout the event! FROM INGRESS (setup night) to LAST DAY after Closing of the Mall. No EARLY leaving, fixing up (hipos), must maintain uniformity.
YOU ARE REQUIRED to setup DURING INGRESS (the night before the event) Be at the SM parking lot early to get passes into the event area. SETUP is done on THIS NIGHT ONLY.
You are ENCOURAGED to JOIN the GAMING competitions in the LPX, or at least provide a proxy player (brother? friend?) to play in your behalf if you can - para naman lingaw!
ABSOLUTELY NO VIEWING OF PORNOGRAPHIC and ILLEGAL MATERIALS, NO FIGHTING or DISORDERLY BEHAVIOR.
By JOINING the LPX community and event, you hereby acknowledge and accept the above stated general rules and policies. In the event of VIOLATION of any of these rules, at any point in the LPX event, YOU hereby understand and accept the invalidation of your registration and, with no desire for refund of the registration fee, promise to freely TURN OVER your LPX JACKET, T-Shirt, ID, and other benefits or materials given or assigned to you as an LPX Participant.
THE LPX JACKET, T-SHIRT, and other goodies are in BORROWED STATE to the participant during the event! It will only be FULLY OWNED by the LPX participant AFTER, and ONLY AFTER, THE DAVAO CYBER EXPO 2010 is CONCLUDED.
THE LPX IS NOT ONLY AN EVENT BUT A COMMUNITY EFFORT. THEREFORE WE NEED PARTICIPANTS TO ADHERE TO THE REQUIREMENTS, and CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELLFARE OF THE EVENT.
VIOLATION OF ANY OF THESE RULES INVALIDATES YOUR PARTICIPATION, STRIPS YOU OF BENEFITS (SHIRT, JACKETS, PRIZES, ETC), AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE.
